In most of my early work, you’ll find lines, shapes and patterns rendered in black and white, all expressing intense emotions. Flora and fauna were common subjects during this time.
This style serves as my foundation, my beginning and it will be with me until the end— wow, haha!

I made my first lace piece by accident in the year 2022, as I just wanted to add some patterns on a woman’s clothing. Being able to paint lines, leaves and all sorts of patterns in such a light and delicate way is what really draws me to this subject.

It was during the 2020 lockdown that I missed nature so much that I painted a mural of leaves in my bedroom. From that moment, the commission requests for leaves paintings poured in and I never stopped painting that subject since.

It took me years to be brave enough to paint the female form but through this subject, I am able to express my most honest emotions and capture universal moments, feelings and experiences.
